IMDS Services

The IMDS (International Material Data System) is the automobile industry's material data system. Initially, it was a joint development of Audi, BMW, Daimler, DXC, Ford, Opel, Porsche, VW and Volvo.

IMDS is free to use for all suppliers (Tier 1 to Tier n) across the supply chain and is largely funded and supported by OEM's. It is currently owned by DXC Technology.
